What it actually tracks

Six things, updated by the two of you rather than typed in by one of you.

Days together

Your counter starts the day you set your anniversary and never stops. Days, months, and every milestone worth marking — no spreadsheet, no reminders to set.

Your streak

A shared streak that only grows when both of you show up. It is the one number in the app neither partner can move alone — which is exactly what makes it mean something.

Compatibility score

Built from the quizzes and games you actually play together, not a personality test you took once. It moves as you learn more about each other.

Engagement score

A quiet, honest read on how much attention the two of you have been giving each other lately. Not a leaderboard — a nudge, on the weeks you need one.

Milestones and dates

Anniversaries, monthsaries, birthdays, first-met dates and anything else you want counted. Both of you get the reminder, so neither of you is the one who remembers everything.

Memories as they happen

Photos, love notes and daily messages saved to one shared timeline. A year in, it is the part couples say they would miss most.

A tracker only one of you opens
isn't tracking your relationship

Most people who go looking for a relationship tracker end up with a notes app, a calendar reminder, or a widget on one phone. It works, in the sense that the date is written down somewhere. But it makes one person the keeper of the relationship's memory — the one who remembers the anniversary, saves the photos, and notices when it's been a quiet few weeks.

OurCouple is built the other way round. Everything lives in a space that belongs to both of you, the streak only moves when you both show up, and the reminders reach both phones. Nobody has to be the one who keeps track.

"Love the app. I’m in a LDR and it helps ease some of the distance. The recent updates are great and it’s so appreciated that the developer asks for and executes feedback. Thank you Vincent!"

Relationship Tracker FAQ

What is a relationship tracker?

A relationship tracker is an app that keeps a running record of your relationship — how long you have been together, upcoming anniversaries and milestones, and some measure of how connected the two of you have been lately. The useful ones are shared between both partners rather than kept by one person.

Is there a free relationship tracker app?

OurCouple is free to download and comes with a 7-day free trial of the full app, then one plan that covers both partners rather than charging each of you separately. If you only want a date counter, our free anniversary calculator and monthsary counter work in the browser with no signup at all.

Does it work on both iPhone and Android?

Yes. OurCouple is on the App Store and Google Play, and it does not matter which of you is on which — one partner can be on iPhone and the other on Android.

Can my partner see everything I track?

Your shared space is shared by design: the counter, the streak, the scores and the memories belong to both of you. It is end-to-end encrypted, so nobody outside the two of you can read any of it — including us.

What happens if we stop using it for a while?

Nothing is lost. Your counters keep running, your memories stay where you left them, and your streak simply starts again when you come back. The app is not built to punish you for a quiet month.

Do I need a tracker if we already have a shared calendar?

A calendar tells you what is coming up. A relationship tracker also keeps the running history — how long it has been, what you have saved, and how much attention you have actually been giving each other. Most couples find the second part is what a calendar never covers.
